Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a supervisory culinary role
  • Availability for evening shifts from 1 pm to 10 pm, seven days a week
  • Ability to manage and lead a diverse kitchen team
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Completion of a background check
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary education or on-the-job training
  • Independent restaurant experience preferred
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and organization abilities
  • Experience with training and basic financial management
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge
  • Expediting and menu writing skills preferred
  • Ability to produce consistent products in a timely manner

Job Duties

  • Serve as liaison between Harry's Place, Stewarding, In-Room Dining operations, and culinary staff
  • Supervise the preparation and cooking of various food items
  • Manage hourly kitchen employees through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, evaluating, and hiring
  • Oversee other key culinary leadership roles such as supervisors and less senior Sous Chefs
  • Lead and coach the team to achieve exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction
  • Monitor daily food production, ordering, cost, quality, and consistency
  • Expedite kitchen operations ensuring timely and consistent food delivery
