Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a supervisory culinary role
- Availability for evening shifts from 1 pm to 10 pm, seven days a week
- Ability to manage and lead a diverse kitchen team
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Completion of a background check
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Culinary education or on-the-job training
- Independent restaurant experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
- Experience with training and basic financial management
- Proficient in general computer knowledge
- Expediting and menu writing skills preferred
- Ability to produce consistent products in a timely manner
Job Duties
- Serve as liaison between Harry's Place, Stewarding, In-Room Dining operations, and culinary staff
- Supervise the preparation and cooking of various food items
- Manage hourly kitchen employees through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, evaluating, and hiring
- Oversee other key culinary leadership roles such as supervisors and less senior Sous Chefs
- Lead and coach the team to achieve exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction
- Monitor daily food production, ordering, cost, quality, and consistency
- Expedite kitchen operations ensuring timely and consistent food delivery
