Job Requirements

  • Prior cooking experience
  • ability to work the specified schedule of Friday through Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • experience in a kitchen environment
  • knowledge of sanitary food preparation standards
  • ability to maintain a clean, safe kitchen
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to follow dietary guidelines and restrictions
  • physical ability to move intermittently during work
  • compliance with health and safety regulations
  • ability to serve residents and guests courteously

Job Duties

  • Preparing meals that are well-balanced, creative, and beautifully presented
  • adhering to dietary standards and restrictions in coordination with the facility's dietitian
  • preparing food in accordance with sanitary regulations and established policies and procedures
  • ensuring the kitchen is maintained in a clean, safe manner and all supplies and equipment are in order
  • assisting with special events within the facility
  • serving our residents and their guests in a friendly, timely, and courteous manner
