Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in pastry preparation including creating pastry baked goods and desserts
  • culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • knowledge of and experience with advanced baking techniques
  • ability to execute pastry production in a high-volume kitchen under pressure
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • familiarity with food safety and HACCP guidelines

Job Duties

  • Prepare and make all pastry baked goods and desserts
  • follow standardized recipes and measure ingredients to ensure consistency and quality
  • oversee and manage the pastry team delegating tasks as necessary
  • communicate and coordinate with the executive chef and kitchen staff
  • maintain food safety and HACCP guidelines at all times
  • receive and store all food items properly and in a timely manner
  • execute pastry duties for banquet events in a timely fashion
