Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years of relevant dining experience
- possession of a state-required food preparation license
- understanding of sanitation and infection control standards
- ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds
- proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- ServSafe® Manager certification or must obtain within 60 days
- adherence to all federal, state, and facility regulatory standards
- strong communication and organizational skills
- commitment to a high level of customer service and hospitality
Job Qualifications
- Two years of dining experience in healthcare, hospitality, or senior care communities
- state required food preparation license
- strong knowledge of federal, state, and facility sanitation regulations
- associate’s degree in culinary arts and 3-5 years of experience
- accredited culinary training and 5-7 years of experience
- ServSafe® Manager certification or ability to obtain within 60 days
- applicable state licensure
- knowledge of Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living laws
- excellent customer service and hospitality skills
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve meals to residents and guests
- maintain sanitation and cleanliness of food service areas
- keep accurate records of food preparation and inventory
- receive and rotate products to ensure freshness
- comply with federal, state, and facility regulations on sanitation and infection control
- collaborate with Dining Manager to enhance dining experience
- operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
