Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years of relevant dining experience
- valid state food preparation license
- ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- proficiency in internet and Microsoft Office applications
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- two years of dining experience in healthcare, hospitality, or senior care community with leadership and organizational skills
- state required food preparation license
- strong knowledge of federal, state, and facility sanitation and infection control regulations
- associate's degree in culinary arts with 3-5 years of experience
- accredited culinary training with 5-7 years of experience
- ServSafe Manager certification or must obtain within 60 days of hire
- applicable state licensure
- general knowledge of laws and regulations governing assisted living, memory care, and independent living
- strong customer service and hospitality skills
Job Duties
- prepare and serve meals that are appealing and nutritious
- maintain sanitation standards in food service areas
- accurately keep records of food service operations
- receive, rotate, and inventory food products
- ensure regulatory compliance with all food safety guidelines
- report to the Dining Manager to enhance resident dining experience
- collaborate effectively with dining services team to maintain smooth operations
