Job Qualifications
- Must be able to work a flexible and varying schedule based on business demands
- Professional Food Manager certification required
- Nevada state certifications required
- Chef’s Apprentice certification preferred
- 3+ years of food and beverage experience
- Experience as a Senior or Line Cook preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
Job Duties
- Ensure all preparations adhere to established recipes menu and portion specifications based on business volumes
- Responsible for food presentation quality of products and waste prevention
- Perform cook duties including cross training at all stations training new team members opening closing procedures and ensuring PPE usage
- Lead daily operation by managing workflow of senior cooks and line cooks and completing table touches for guest recovery
- Study waste evidence and suggest improvements track and manage inventory variances reconciliation spoilage shrink and swell
- Order supplies according to par levels and staffing projections
- Ensure safety practices and HACCP compliance
- Assist with station assignments and scheduling support F&B operations for efficiency and labor optimization
