Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age with a high school degree or GED required
- relevant experience working in a licensed child care center, public school, or commercial kitchen required
- must pass required state and company background checks
- comply with state and company minimum education and experience requirements

- ability to follow dietary guidelines and prepare balanced meals

Job Duties
- Help chef prepare nutritionally balanced meals for children and staff
- keep an accurate inventory of supplies and place orders as needed
- help the head chef with aspects of prepping and preparing meals
- assist in maintaining cleanliness and complying with sanitation requirements
- support kitchen operations to ensure food safety and quality standards are met
- communicate effectively with team members and staff regarding meal preparation and inventory needs
- participate in ongoing training and development opportunities related to kitchen safety and nutrition
