Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in high-volume hotel and restaurant, and/or bar brand with live entertainment
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field or four years of comparable experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Detailed knowledge of food and beverage operations with strong leadership and strategic planning skills
  • Strong interpersonal relations and leadership abilities
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, financials, and budgeting systems
  • Professional business appearance and demeanor aligned with brand and culture
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to meet demands of seven-day-a-week operation
  • Passion for people with a strong local events and restaurant/bar industry network
  • Comfortable with physically demanding tasks including standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10 percent of the time

Job Duties

  • Develop, communicate, and implement a business strategy aligned with the property and brand
  • Lead and supervise team members during daily operations
  • Assist team members during peak times to ensure adequate staffing and functional expertise
  • Respond proactively to guest concerns and manage feedback resolution
  • Manage all planned events and catering operations
  • Utilize social media platforms for effective communication and brand promotion
  • Build and maintain corporate client relationships and industry networks
  • Monitor market trends and introduce new products and services
  • Develop and oversee budget and financial performance
  • Manage financial processes including purchasing, loss prevention, invoicing, and payroll
  • Recruit and develop leaders and team members
  • Delegate responsibilities for various F&B sub-departments such as banquets
  • Ensure compliance with F&B policies and legal regulations
  • Maintain kitchen coverage in absence of Sous Chef
  • Ensure team safety and cleanliness of facilities and equipment
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels
  • Assist in monthly inventory counts
  • Organize storage areas and receive deliveries
  • Ensure appropriate kitchen staffing and equipment functionality
  • Comply with company and regulatory standards in product preparation and presentation
