This opportunity is aboard a prestigious private 47-meter motor yacht, flagged in the Cayman Islands, currently located in Fort Lauderdale. The vessel is undergoing its 15-year survey and is scheduled to depart for the Caribbean in mid-November. With a professional and harmonious crew of nine onboard, the yacht embarks on an exciting and diverse itinerary, cruising from Central America to South America, back to Florida, and exploring the Northwest USA and Canada. Job Requirements

  • Mature and confident individual
  • Can accommodate cooking for 9 crew plus 2-8 guests
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to work within a busy program
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to changing itineraries
  • Experience in yacht culinary service preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a yacht chef or in a similar luxury hospitality role
  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent professional training
  • Strong knowledge of healthy cuisine and creative presentation techniques
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage kitchen operations independently
  • Experience accommodating multiple dietary requirements
  • Positive, upbeat personality with flexibility to work in dynamic environments

Job Duties

  • Prepare nutritious and creatively presented meals for owners and guests
  • Plan menus that accommodate dietary preferences and lifestyles
  • Manage all kitchen operations including provisioning, storage, and hygiene
  • Collaborate effectively with crew to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
  • Adapt menus and resources for various cruising areas and availability
  • Maintain cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards
