Job Requirements
- Culinary experience of at least 1 year
- Cooking experience of at least 1 year
- Possession of valid form of identification
- Ability to relocate to Big Spring, TX before starting work
- Availability for day, night, and overnight shifts
- Willingness to work approximately 63 hours per week during hitch
- Commitment to food safety and sanitation regulations
Job Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food production methods
- Proven leadership experience in a kitchen environment
- Experience with menu planning, execution, and presentation
- Thorough understanding of hospitality industry standards and regulations
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred
Job Duties
- Oversee all food preparation and cooking processes
- Develop and implement seasonal and innovative menus while maintaining consistency and quality
- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff while promoting a positive and productive team environment
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor stock levels
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards
- Collaborate with management to maintain proper scheduling, shift coverage, and kitchen operations
