Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a professional kitchen
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety regulations
- Experience leading and managing kitchen staff
- Proficient in menu planning and cost management
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain high standards of quality and consistency
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a chef or in a similar role
- Strong leadership and management skills
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and safety standards
- Ability to innovate and adapt menus creatively
- Experience with budgeting and cost control

Job Duties
- Create menus
- Direct the food prep process
- Plan and order ingredients and necessary equipment
- Arrange for kitchen repairs when needed
- Use P and L statements to effectively manage costs and meet budgets
- Hire, manage, and train kitchen staff
- Oversee kitchen staff, looking for opportunities to counsel or coach
- Foster cooperation, collaboration and respect
- Have knowledge of and enforce all safety and sanitation requirements
