Job Requirements

Proven experience as a chef, cook, or in food service (healthcare or residential setting preferred)
knowledge of nutrition and ability to adapt meals for dietary needs
strong organizational and time-management skills
must be dependable, punctual, and committed to consistency in food preparation
ServSafe Manager Certification is a plus

Job Qualifications

Loves God and people
experience working in a commercial kitchen
basic English reading and communication skills
ServSafe Manager Certification is a plus
Culinary Arts degree is a plus

Job Duties

Plan, prepare, and serve three meals per day for residents
prepare and package food in advance for weekend needs
maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen in compliance with health and safety standards
monitor food inventory, order supplies, and manage storage
accommodate dietary restrictions and special meal requests as needed
work collaboratively with staff to support resident care
supervise HCF staff and kitchen volunteers to prepare and serve meals
