Job Requirements

  • bachelors degree in culinary arts, hotel/restaurant management or related area
  • 4-6 years of culinary arts, hotel restaurant, and/or food service industry experience
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to mentor and lead teams
  • experience with menu design and customer training
  • knowledge of food cost and labor cost evaluation
  • familiarity with customer relationship management
  • capacity to work in a team-oriented environment
  • willingness to perform various duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • bachelors in culinary arts, hotel/restaurant management or related area
  • 4-6 years culinary arts, hotel restaurant and/or food service experience
  • ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • experience developing training materials and conducting training sessions
  • creative skillset for menu design and food concepts
  • knowledge of foodservice industry trends
  • ability to evaluate food and labor costs effectively
  • problem-solving and consultative selling skills
  • teamwork and collaboration abilities

Job Duties

  • serve as business consultant for customers in an effort to build customer loyalty and promote sales
  • provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public, customers, vendors and coworkers
  • mentor, lead and teach food concepts to others
  • conduct in-house training seminars
  • write training materials for customers
  • conduct training for customers on many different topics
  • design customer menus
  • develop new ideas for customers
  • cook for special customer events
  • provide consultative services that develops long-term business relationships
  • interact with customers and vendors in a friendly, timely and quality manner
  • ensure customers and vendors’ questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner
  • evaluate food and labor cost savings through observation
  • evaluate customer service through observations
  • increase expertise of cooking related activities and ideas
  • perform other related duties as assigned
