We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Chef to prepare nutritious and delightful meals for three elderly individuals. Our clients currently subsist mainly on cereal and soup for breakfast and lunch, which does not meet their nutritional needs. Two of these individuals are underweight, one has diabetes, and another is overweight, each requiring specially tailored meal plans to improve their health and wellbeing. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in meal preparation for elderly or health-compromised individuals
- Understanding of nutritional needs related to diabetes and weight management
- Ability to shop for and select fresh groceries
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Physical ability to perform cooking and kitchen duties
- Reliable and trustworthy with strong interpersonal skills

- Proven experience as a personal or professional chef
- Knowledge of nutrition and dietary restrictions, especially for elderly and diabetic clients
- Ability to create balanced meal plans catering to specific health conditions
- Excellent cooking skills with emphasis on healthful meal preparation

- Familiarity with food safety standards and kitchen management
Job Duties
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals tailored to elderly clients' dietary needs
- Shop for fresh and high-quality ingredients
- Adapt recipes to manage diabetes, support weight gain, and promote healthy weight loss
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Communicate with clients and healthcare professionals about dietary preferences and restrictions
