Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of culinary experience with at least 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques kitchen management and food safety standards
  • Experience in menu creation and kitchen operations management
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work nights weekends and holidays
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques kitchen management and food safety standards
  • Experience creating and executing creative and high-quality menus for fine dining or upscale casual restaurants
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a kitchen team effectively promoting teamwork and excellence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff
  • Ability to work under pressure in high-volume fast-paced environments maintaining attention to detail and quality
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Flexibility to work nights weekends and holidays
  • Passion for food cooking and providing outstanding culinary experiences
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Develop and design seasonal menus ensuring creativity quality and cost-efficiency
  • Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation cooking plating and quality control
  • Lead train and manage the kitchen team fostering a positive collaborative environment
  • Manage inventory levels order supplies and control food costs minimizing waste
  • Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations food safety standards cleanliness and sanitation
  • Monitor food quality throughout service maintaining high standards and consistency
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Identify opportunities for team development providing training and mentorship
  • Oversee food cost management labor costs and budget adherence
  • Enhance guest experience ensuring quality speed and presentation of dishes
