- vocational school technical training or associate degree in food service
- 1 - 3 years experience
- working knowledge of basic microsoft applications
- food protection manager certification by an anab-cfp accredited food sanitation program within 90 days
- certified food protection manager certificate must be issued by the state of minnesota within 90 days for mn locations
Job Duties
- prepare and cook food items to specified temperatures following standardized recipes
- weigh and measure ingredients per standardized recipes
- assemble meals and bakery items within designated time frames
- complete daily preparation tasks accurately
- assist with special events
- prepare texturized diets utilizing international dysphagia diet standardization (iddsi) standards
- maintain a clean and sanitary work environment following proper cleaning schedules and using recommended equipment and chemicals
- supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations in supervisor's absence
- effectively communicate resident and guest feedback on meal and service quality
