Job Requirements

  • 0 - 1 year of previous experience
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Food Handlers certification issued by an ANAB-CFP accredited food sanitation program within 90 days

Job Qualifications

  • 0 - 1 year of previous experience
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Food Handlers certification issued by an ANAB-CFP accredited food sanitation program within 90 days
  • Vocational school technical training or associate degree in food service preferred
  • 1 - 3 years of previous experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of basic Microsoft applications preferred
  • Food Protection Manager certification or Certified Food Protection Manager certificate (CFPM) issued by the State of Minnesota within 90 days preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food items to specified temperatures following standardized recipes ensuring consistent quality nutritional value and proper portioning
  • Weigh and measure ingredients per standardized recipes
  • Assemble meals and bakery items within designated time frames complete daily preparation tasks accurately assist with special events
  • Properly prepare texturized diets using International Dysphagia Diet Standardization (IDDSI) standards
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment following cleaning schedules using recommended equipment and chemicals
  • Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations in supervisor's absence
  • Communicate resident and guest feedback on meal and service quality effectively
