Job Requirements
- Graduate of a reputable culinary school
- ServSafe Food Service Manager certification or willingness to obtain within three months
- ServSafe Allergen certification or willingness to obtain within three months
- Minimum of two years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen preferably in healthcare or senior living
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques including cooking baking and presentation

Job Duties
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including menu planning food preparation and food service
- Lead mentor and develop a high-performing culinary team
- Develop and implement creative and appealing menus that meet dietary needs and preferences of residents
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment ensuring adherence to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage food inventory place orders and control food costs
- Interact with residents to ensure their satisfaction with meal service and address dietary concerns promptly
- Collaborate effectively with other departments including dining services nursing and resident services
