Job Requirements

  • Culinary expertise proven experience as a chef or in a similar role with a strong understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines
  • strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills
  • creativity ability to create innovative dishes and menus that attract and retain customers
  • exceptional customer service skills
  • solid understanding of kitchen operations including food and beverage knowledge
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • knowledge of local health and safety regulations
  • proficiency in restaurant POS systems and MS Office
  • certification in food safety and responsible alcohol service

Job Duties

  • Lead train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain a productive and efficient kitchen environment
  • foster a positive and motivated work environment
  • ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service standards addressing guest concerns and promoting a welcoming atmosphere
  • manage the budget monitor expenses and maximize revenue
  • implement cost control measures while ensuring quality remains uncompromised
  • maintain the highest standards of food and beverage quality presentation and service
  • oversee the preparation and cooking of meals ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes and standards
  • ensure that all health safety and licensing regulations are followed
  • monitor and enforce sanitation and food safety standards
  • oversee inventory levels order supplies and manage stock rotation efficiently
  • address any issues that arise during service promptly and professionally
  • work closely with front of house staff to coordinate service timing and menu offerings ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests
