Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership including 2+ years as an executive chef
  • Proven success developing menus and leading kitchen teams
  • Strong operational, financial, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of sustainability, nutrition trends, and modern techniques
  • ServSafe Manager certification
  • Hands-on experience with health department inspections
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and event schedules as needed

Job Duties

  • Create seasonal, modern menus aligned with sustainability and plant-forward principles
  • Lead recipe development, tastings, costing, and plating standards
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure excellence in food quality
  • Manage food and labor costs, inventory, and vendor relationships
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performance culinary team
  • Collaborate closely with front-of-house, operations, and leadership teams
  • Represent Tapestry as a culinary ambassador during events and client interactions
