Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of relevant cooking experience
  • Knowledge of cooking principles and supervisory skills
  • Ability to lift and handle equipment safely
  • Ability to work standing and walking for prolonged periods
  • Ability to follow recipes and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage food production operations

Job Qualifications

  • Requires immediate knowledge of cooking principles and visible supervisory skills (ex. cost control, delegation skills, etc.)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Education level: High School Diploma/GED
  • Culinary degree or related experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist preparing various foods
  • Restock/pick list
  • Clean/sanitizes work area
  • Oversee all cooking procedures/finished product and portion control
  • Loading/lifting, bending, turning, reaching/handling, twisting, rolling/pushing, sterilization of knives, all equipment (steamers, ovens, registers, etc.)
  • Daily interruptions include frequency of equipment/environmental noise, telephone/alarms/timers, co-workers/guest interaction
  • Responsible for managing all food production operations
  • Relieves when manager is gone
