Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in food preparation or culinary arts preferred
- ability to work 7am-3pm shifts during the week and every other weekend
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to follow dietary and safety protocols
- commitment to providing compassionate care
- willingness to work as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a clinical food service setting preferred but not required
- strong customer service background
- passion for working with the elderly community
- formal culinary education or training preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines and residents' preferences
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- assist with menu planning and food inventory management
- ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met
- collaborate with the culinary team to deliver excellent service
- engage positively with residents and respond to their feedback
- assist with special dietary needs and meal accommodations
