Job Requirements

  • Must be 18+ years old
  • 0 - 1 year experience
  • MN Food Safety-Sanitation Certification within 90 days or Certified Food Protection Manager issued by the State of Minnesota within 90 days
  • ability to handle food safely and hygienically
  • willingness to work days, early evenings, and weekends as needed
  • ability to assist with meal preparation and plating
  • good communication skills
  • physical ability to perform kitchen duties

Job Qualifications

  • 0 - 1 year experience
  • must be 18+ years old
  • MN Food Safety-Sanitation Certification within 90 days or Certified Food Protection Manager issued by the State of Minnesota within 90 days
  • vocational school technical training or Associate Degree in Food Service preferred
  • 1 - 3 years experience preferred
  • working knowledge of basic Microsoft applications preferred

Job Duties

  • Handle and prepare food in a safe manner following policies and infection control and safety standards
  • ensure timely production and meal service is provided to residents
  • set up line service
  • clean and sanitize equipment and work area after each use
  • assist with special events
  • assist Culinary Director with supervision and training of culinary staff
  • perform other duties as assigned and directed
