Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- be honest dependable and exhibit unwavering integrity
- maintain proper hygiene standards
- professional in dress and presentation
- able to stand on feet for a minimum of 8 hours
- physically capable of bending stooping kneeling reaching lifting pushing or pulling 40lbs or more
- willing to be active and on feet throughout the workday
- able to communicate effectively in standard English
- capable of following oral and written instructions
- able to handle multi-tasking and fast paced work environment
- drug free and willing to submit to drug screening
- able to pass a criminal background check or possess valid Fingerprint Clearance card
- mature individual
- attend required in-services and workshops to continue skill and community education
Job Qualifications

- at least one year of kitchen experience preferred
- good physical and mental health

- ability to use own judgment and initiative in daily activities
Job Duties
- prepare and cook nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences
- ensure compliance with county and state health regulations regarding food safety and sanitation
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas
- manage inventory and order supplies to meet operational needs while minimizing waste
- collaborate with dietary and care staff to accommodate resident dietary restrictions and preferences
- monitor and report any kitchen equipment malfunctions or safety hazards
- participate in required training sessions to maintain and improve culinary and safety skills
