Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • ServSafe certification
  • Experience in culinary preparation preferred
  • Ability to maintain high sanitation and safety standards
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Maintain a working knowledge of culinary methods related to ingredient preparation and recipe execution
  • Assist Executive Chef with meal preparation as assigned
  • May assist in procurement of food inventory and supplies
  • Properly label and store food items in accordance with safe storage standards
  • Understand operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment such as food processor, dishwasher, convection oven
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment including floors
  • Create and prepare baked food items, breads, desserts
  • Perform scheduled cleaning of equipment and work areas according to schedule planned by Executive Chef
