Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged
- servsafe certification required
- ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
- experience in food preparation and kitchen operations preferred
- ability to operate kitchen equipment
- good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties
- assist the executive chef with meal preparation
- prepare salad bar offerings, desserts, and bakery items
- maintain sanitation and safety standards in all kitchen operations
- assist in procurement of food inventory and supplies
- properly label and store food items in accordance with safe storage standards
- operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as food processors, dishwashers, and convection ovens
- maintain a clean and sanitary work environment including floors
- perform scheduled cleaning of kitchen equipment as planned by executive chef
