Job Requirements
- Prior culinary, catering or restaurant experience required
- Ability to supervise and coordinate kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to prepare food following standardized recipes
- Ability to manage inventory and food waste
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Availability to work full-time or part-time with weekend shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Prior supervisory experience preferred

Job Duties
- Supervises, coordinates and participates in food preparation and cooking activities
- Ensures compliance with food handling, sanitation and customer service standards
- Manages kitchen staff including interviewing, scheduling, payroll and training
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes
- Maintains proper food presentation, quality, portion control and serving temperatures
- Tracks food usage and waste for inventory and purchasing
- Receives and inspects products and supplies for quality and quantity
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, workstations and dining areas
- Assists in selecting and developing recipes and menus
- Performs additional duties as assigned
