Job Requirements

Local candidate residing near Atherton, CA
Must be a non-smoker and non-vaper
Ability to pass an in-depth background check
Provide excellent professional references
Availability approximately three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday preferred)
Ability to work 6-8 hour daytime shifts
Commitment to W-2 employment
Comfortable with household dogs
Strong attention to detail and reliability

Job Qualifications

Proven experience as a personal or private chef
Strong knowledge of nutrition and health-conscious cooking
Ability to create diverse menus inspired by Mediterranean, Mexican, Italian, French, Persian, Japanese, and Indian cuisines
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and maintain a clean kitchen environment
Comfort working around dogs
Experience in menu planning and grocery shopping
Culinary training or certification preferred but not required

Job Duties

Prepare weekday lunches and dinners
Occasionally set the table and serve casual meals
Provide kid-friendly snacks and prep food for child's lunch box
Cook with fresh, whole ingredients avoiding processed foods
Incorporate vegetable-heavy, high-protein dishes and avoid leftovers
Submit weekly menu proposals for family approval
Prepare meals for occasional small events or gatherings
Maintain a spotless, well-organized kitchen and handle grocery purchasing
Work independently and communicate clearly
Be comfortable around active, friendly dogs
