Job Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of culinary management experience
- hands-on chef experience
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to manage kitchen staff including scheduling and discipline
- experience with food cost control and menu planning
- strong communication and leadership skills
- willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- ability to collaborate with executive culinary leadership
- associate's degree in Culinary Arts preferred
Job Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of culinary management experience
- experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare and/or related food service operations
- hands-on chef experience
- extensive catering experience preferred
- high volume batch cooking and complex food service operations experience preferred
- comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls and presentation
- ServSafe certification preferred
- computer skills including MS Office products like Excel
- associate's degree in Culinary Arts preferred
Job Duties
- Provide frontline culinary resources and support
- assist with food cost control, menu planning, and purchasing
- ensure food quality guidelines are followed
- assist with planning and creating menus
- produce and execute catering events
- roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team
- assist with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
- perform other duties as assigned
