Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in culinary or food preparation
- Ability to work full time
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including standing for long periods
- Willingness to assist with procurement and inventory management
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous culinary experience in a professional kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment
- Skilled in baking and dessert preparation
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with meal preparation as assigned
- Prepare salad bar offerings, desserts, and bakery items
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety in kitchen operations
- Properly label and store food items according to safe storage standards
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment including food processor, dishwasher, convection oven
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment including floors
- Perform scheduled cleaning of equipment and work areas as planned by the Executive Chef
