Job Requirements

  • Degree in Culinary Arts preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in personnel management
  • Knowledge of HACCP controls and proper food storage
  • Experience in purchasing and inventory management
  • Ability to maintain food cost and quality standards
  • Leadership skills with team development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS
  • Physical ability to lift, bend and carry up to 30 lbs
  • Commitment to ethical behavior and integrity

Job Qualifications

  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification a plus

Job Duties

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Participates in employee meetings and training programs
  • Conducts safety, sanitation and maintenance programs
  • Maintains food cost while ensuring quality standards
  • Maintains an active role in managing team developments
  • Manages purchasing and inventory controls
  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
  • When acting as a interim Food Service Director, responsible for all activity in the account and staff management
