Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of culinary experience in a high-volume full-service kitchen environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of HACCP OSHA FDA regulations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Effective organizational and multitasking abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with experience managing diverse teams
  • Thorough knowledge of HACCP OSHA FDA regulations and food safety standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Word Excel Outlook
  • Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred relevant certifications are a plus
  • Flexible availability including readiness to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Supervise the daily production of fresh high-quality foods served to hundreds of international airline guests ensuring supply-chain systems operate efficiently
  • Control timing of the food production flow and oversee processing to avoid delays or lapses in service
  • Oversee and manage all kitchen operations ensuring seamless daily execution of tasks and adherence to deadlines
  • Supervise and mentor a diverse kitchen team including junior chefs and kitchen staff fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
  • Develop and implement training programs for team members ensuring skill development and consistent performance
  • Maintain high culinary standards including quality presentation portion control and cost efficiency across all kitchen operations
  • Create and refine menus incorporating creativity seasonal ingredients and cost-effective solutions to enhance offerings
  • Monitor ingredient quality participate in food tastings and ensure adherence to standardized recipes for consistent output
