Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Combination of education and experience supporting executive chef status
- Current negative TB test
- Knowledgeable in or can quickly learn various regulatory standards for the kitchen
- Willingness to learn how to work in a healthcare/assisted living environment
- ServeSafe certified or able to obtain within 60 days of hire
- Ability to pass criminal record/background check
- Good time management skills
- Must be able to work well independently with little oversight

Job Duties
- Oversee and implement the culinary program for assisted living and memory care residents
- Create diverse and nutritionally balanced menus with creative flair
- Ensure compliance with food safety, infection control, and cleanliness standards
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high-quality service
- Manage culinary labor, purchasing, and equipment maintenance effectively
- Engage with seniors individually and in groups to enhance dining experiences
- Adapt quickly to the needs and preferences of residents including those with dementia
