Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three years of supervisory experience in food service
  • Culinary certification preferred
  • Serve Safe Certification
  • Ability to train and supervise food service staff
  • Skilled in food safety and sanitation practices
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary certification preferred
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Three years of food service supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's degree in dietetics or food systems management preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise the preparation of all menu items for cafeteria, patient tray line, catering functions, and physician lounges
  • Train, orient, and schedule personnel for food production, sanitation, and safety
  • Monitor employee performance and provide retraining as needed
  • Manage food purchasing, storage, and distribution to multiple meal services and sites
  • Maintain food production records, quality assurance data, and performance improvement records
  • Ensure compliance with safe food handling techniques including dating, labeling, and temperature control
  • Resolve patient, employee, and customer issues promptly and effectively
