Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Must be able to work mid-shift and closing shifts
- Legal authorization to work in the US
- Basic English proficiency
- Willingness to comply with Walmart\'s drug-free workplace policy
- Ability to handle cash and operate a register
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or cashier experience is an advantage but not required
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including mid-shift and closing
- Dependable with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Job Duties
- Greet and thank customers at the register
- Run registers and process payments accurately
- Assist customers with questions and needs
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude throughout the shift
- Stand for long periods while performing checkout duties
- Handle transactions efficiently to reduce wait times
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
