Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- ability to stand for long periods
- availability to work mid-shift or closing shifts
- legal authorization to work in the United States
- no prior criminal convictions that would prevent employment
- willingness to comply with Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy
- ability to handle physical demands of the job including standing and occasional lifting
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous customer service experience beneficial
- ability to handle cash and operate a register confidently
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible shifts including mid and closing times
- basic math skills
- positive attitude and team player
Job Duties
- Greet and thank customers politely and professionally
- ring up purchased items accurately and efficiently
- process payments including cash, credit, and digital forms
- assist customers with questions and needs in a positive manner
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
- comply with all store policies and procedures
- stand for extended periods during shifts
