Job Requirements
- No education or experience requirements
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently and up to 10 pounds constantly
- Must have adequate vision including depth perception and color vision
- Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions
- Must be willing to work night and weekend shifts
- Must be punctual and reliable

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- Makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing products out of reach, loading/unloading heavy items, noting and passing along suggestions
- Answers the telephone promptly and provides helpful service
- Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Operates cash register accurately, scans products, redeems coupons and processes payments
- Packages merchandise and assists courtesy personnel
- Answers customer questions and follows up with appropriate personnel
- Ensures compliance with policies on sales of tobacco, liquor, lottery tickets
- Maintains store appearance and keeps register area clean
- Reports cash register balances and handles refunds
- Practices proper sanitation and adheres to company dress and hygiene policies
- Reports to work when scheduled and assists in store management tasks as required
