Job Requirements
- Availability to work night and weekend shifts
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently and up to 10 pounds constantly
- Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
- Visual ability including depth perception, color vision and field of vision
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to provide customer service with patience and professionalism

- Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- Ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals and percentages

Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out of reach products, loading or unloading heavy items, and passing along customer suggestions
- Operate cash register accurately and scan products
- Redeem promotional coupons, food stamps, WIC checks, issue rain checks, receive cash and checks, complete credit card transactions and calculate discounts
- Place merchandise in bags or boxes and assist courtesy personnel
- Answer customer questions and concerns and follow-up with appropriate personnel
- Ensure compliance with local, state and company policies on sales of tobacco, liquor and lottery tickets
- Stock, face, rotate merchandise and maintain cleanliness and order in the register area
