Job Duties
- Complete patient registration and check in process verifying insurance benefits
- obtain necessary referrals
- collect and post patient copays and payments
- facilitate patient flow by notifying the provider of patients arrival being aware of delays and communicating with patients and clinical staff
- scheduling appointments
- assist patients as necessary and contact appropriate parties for transportation
- manage payment batches and submit daily balance sheets
- maintain reception area in a neat and orderly condition
- assist patients with electronic kiosks
