Job Requirements

  • Graduate of four-year high school
  • three years experience related to described duties preferred
  • must have reliable transportation
  • must be available to work early mornings and occasionally late afternoons
  • must be available to work one Saturday a month during football season
  • ability to work under pressure
  • ability to comply with HIPAA guidelines
  • good data entry skills

Job Duties

  • Check-in and schedule patients for physicians
  • demonstrate empathy and active listening during patient encounters
  • have outstanding customer service skills and work well under pressure
  • clearly understand all HIPAA guidelines and ensure guidelines are followed in all situations
  • provide timely response to patient and supervisor requests
  • possess great data entry skills
  • strong ability to multi-task
  • strong user level of computer skills
  • arrive to work no later than 6:50am to begin clinic at 7:00am
  • stay at work until 5:00pm when necessary
  • work one Saturday a month from 7:00am-11:00am during football season
  • have reliable transportation and willingness to travel to Jackson, Madison, and Flowood offices
