Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one year progressive experience in a hotel or related field
  • guest service experience preferred
  • computer knowledge and skills
  • able to work flexible and long hours
  • capable of exerting up to 10 pounds occasionally
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to listen and clarify concerns
  • maintain a friendly and service-oriented approach

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Reconcile all hotel cashier transactions
  • review, organize and compile management reports
  • ensure accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions
  • communicate concerns to management
  • perform guest services including check-in, check-out, switchboard operation and reservations
  • audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports
  • prepare and distribute daily reports such as Daily Operating Report, Tax Reports
  • audit, reconcile, consolidate and transmit credit card transactions
  • prioritize job functions to meet deadlines
  • input and update financial information
  • perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual data processing functions
  • report unusual operational or financial events
  • ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • respond to governmental inquiries
  • handle guest requests
