Job Requirements

  • A S degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Strong culinary knowledge of food trends production sanitation cost control and presentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook email and internet tools
  • Experience in catering preferred
  • Experience working in high volume foodservice environments
  • ServSafe certification is preferred

Job Qualifications

  • A S degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Strong knowledge of current food and catering trends focusing on quality production sanitation cost controls and presentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook email and internet based tools
  • Extensive catering background is a plus
  • Experience in complex high volume foodservice environments is highly desirable
  • ServSafe certification is strongly preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead culinary operations directing preparation and presentation of meals in accordance with company programs nutritional standards and quality expectations
  • Plan and develop regular and modified menus meeting established guidelines showcasing seasonal and diverse culinary offerings
  • Train mentor and inspire kitchen staff in culinary skills safe food handling sanitation and equipment use to maintain operational excellence
  • Establish and oversee cleaning and maintenance schedules for all equipment storage areas and workspaces to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Maintain proper inventory levels of food and supplies adhering to budget and ensuring product availability
  • Ensure full compliance with all federal state and local health and sanitation regulations as well as company standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the dining program
