Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- ability to deal with customers and co-workers in a tactful and respectful manner
- ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions
- meet requirements of regular attendance
- maintain physical stamina to work in a fast-paced casino environment
- able to sit, stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino
- able to speak and hear clearly
- ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- occasional lift or move up to 25 pounds
- close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment capabilities
- flexible to work holidays, nights, and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience preferred
- ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- excellent time management, problem-solving and organizational skills
- flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours
- dedicated to meeting and exceeding expectations of clients
- trusted and respectful individual
- courteous and respectful communication skills
- ability to cooperate with others and contribute to a positive work environment
- sommelier certification would be a bonus
Job Duties
- Believe and demonstrate the GSR vision and mission statement
- take beverage orders from restaurant customers and input orders into POS system
- deliver orders following required standards for the position
- prepare tableside items as requested by customer
- anticipate guest's needs
- complete all side work including wiping down stations and re-stocking supplies
- polish silver, buff glasses, set-up service cart, and prepare tables and stations
- breakdown stations, carts and tables at close of restaurant
- explain menu to the guests and answer any questions they may have
- always check on quality of food and service to ensure excellent guest service
