Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Ability to stand and walk frequently during shifts
- Capability to reach overhead, bend, kneel, and balance
- Ability to push, pull, lift or carry objects weighing up to 50lbs regularly
- Adequate vision abilities including distance, depth perception, field of vision and color vision
- Proficient in simple reading, math, writing and task completion skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Ability to communicate in English, both in written and oral form
- Knowledge of menu products
- Ability to operate glassware washing machines and refill ice bins
- Knowledge of dish room operations including separating silverware, dishes and glassware
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Skills in compiling, coordination, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours
Job Duties
- Promptly welcome all guests and ensure they receive responsive, professional, and gracious service always
- Anticipate the guests' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
- Effectively communicate with management, chefs, and culinary staff to fulfill and address any issues or needs
- Clear tables after guests leave, promptly clean tabletops/seating area, thoroughly clean booths and chairs, and take tableware to the dish room
- Assist servers in pre-bus and busing tables
- Help set up to-go/pick up area and help deliver to-go orders to host desk
- Refill beverages as necessary
- Set and reset tables and side stations before, during and after service periods
- Deliver food orders to tables
- Ensure all machines are cleaned properly
- Fold/roll napkins when needed and keep silverware polished
- Reset tables in a timely and efficient manner
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and learn new menu items
- Assist the kitchen in expediting the service process
- Maintain general cleanliness in dining room during service periods
- Responsible for taking, compiling, delivering and putting away warehouse orders
- Perform any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position
