Job Duties
- Serves as a messenger and conveyor of faith, mission, and purpose
- Interacts with companies, employees, and the community in a manner exhibiting character through personal and spiritual disciplines
- Makes regular visits to company worksites to build trust and friendships motivated by Christian faith
- Provides confidential pastoral discussions addressing family, illness, financial, and life issues
- Acts as referral service coordinator for specialized assistance to employees and families
- Assists in planning, conducting, or attending funerals including follow-up support during grief
- Facilitates spiritual enrichment activities sponsored and led by employees
- Participates in new employee orientation explaining Employee Care Service and Chaplain Team roles
- Responds to requests from executive leadership within scope of agreement
- Provides literature and resources to assist employees with life issues
- Works with companies on notifications related to death, injuries, or emergencies
- Provides post-termination care to laid-off or terminated employees.
