- Understanding of the Holy Bible and its proper application
- Active participation in biblically based church
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain emotional stability
- Skill in analyzing information and problem solving
- Computer proficiency with Google Suites or Microsoft Office
- Active state driver’s license and minimum auto insurance
- Must pass pre-employment background check

Job Duties
- Serves as a messenger and conveyor of faith, mission, and purpose
- Interacts with companies, their employees, and the community in a manner that exhibits character through personal and spiritual disciplines
- Makes brief visits to company worksites regularly to build relationships of trust and friendship
- Provides confidential pastoral discussions for problem issues of employees and their families
- Provides referral service and acts as coordinator for specialized assistance
- Assists in planning and attending funerals for employees or immediate family members
- Works with companies to serve notifications of death and serious injuries
- Facilitates spiritual enrichment activities as appropriate
- Participates in new employee orientation to explain chaplain services
- Responds to other duties requested by executive leadership within scope of agreement
