Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of experience in fine dining cooking
- availability to work part-time 24-30 hours per week
- ability to work Fridays and Saturdays is a must
- willingness to work weekends and holidays
- strong communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in fine dining cooking
- prior experience as a professional cook in a high-volume fine dining restaurant preferred
- ability to cook steaks to perfect medium temperature
- ability to prepare meals from scratch in a restaurant environment
- strong culinary skills and attention to detail
- ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented kitchen
Job Duties
- Skillfully prepare dishes following recipes and maintaining solid knowledge of food products and techniques
- use kitchen equipment safely and restock supplies as needed
- properly label and date products for safekeeping and sanitation
- maintain attention to detail in plate presentation and menu knowledge
- assist kitchen leadership with executing service and preparing base sauces, stocks, and soups
- collaborate with the team to meet guest needs and inquiries
