Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- two years of bartending experience
- ability to work part-time, variable shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- knowledge of standardized beverage recipes and bar operations
- cash handling skills
- good communication skills
- physical ability to stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- At least two years of bartending experience
- knowledge of cocktail recipes, beverage preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, and bar equipment
- ability to work part-time with variable shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- highly motivated and energetic personality
- experience in a similar upscale or high-volume environment preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standardized recipes
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, ensuring all equipment and tools are in good working order
- demonstrate in-depth knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections
- handle cash transactions, including ringing beverages, collecting payments, and preparing daily reports
- train and mentor apprentice bartenders and bar porters on bar operations and guest service
- maintain inventory levels in accordance with set pars and internal controls, and request products as needed
- address guest complaints within your authority and report any unusual circumstances to management
