Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or customer service preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Physical ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic math proficiency
- Commitment to following food safety and handling procedures
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment and multitask effectively
- Ability to lead by example and motivate team members positively
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Basic math skills
- Demonstrated trained food safety knowledge
- Ability to acquire county food handler’s card if applicable
- Food service experience preferred
Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Provide excellent service by taking orders, answering questions, and delivering food in a timely and courteous manner
- Prepare and assemble food orders according to Champs Chicken’s standards
- Ensure all food items are cooked and presented correctly and safely
- Keep work areas, including kitchen, dining area, and restroom, clean and organized according to health and safety standards
- Work alongside fellow Crew Members and Shift Leaders to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Assist with various tasks including cleaning, restocking, and food preparation
- Ensure food meets Champs Chicken’s standards for quality, taste, appearance, and hygiene
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately for cash and card transactions
- Assist with order packaging and ensure timely, accurate delivery
- Help with stocking supplies and inventory management
- Adhere to all safety and food handling procedures
- Address customer concerns professionally to maintain satisfaction
