Job Requirements
- Type rated on Challenger 605 or comparable aircraft
- first class medical required
- must be able to work on an on-call basis
- must be able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually
- primary residence within a 2 hour drive from KSJC or willing to relocate
Job Qualifications
- Total time equals 3000 hours
- pilot-in-command equals 1500 hours
- multi-engine land experience equals 1500 hours
- multi-engine land pilot-in-command equals 500 hours
- time in turbojet equals 500 hours
- instrument flight hours equals 250 hours
- type rated on Challenger 605 or comparable aircraft
- hold a first-class medical certificate
- able to work on an on-call basis
- able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually
- primary residence within a 2 hour drive from KSJC or willing to relocate
Job Duties
- Responsible for safe operation of the Challenger 605 aircraft
- responsible for conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner according to Solairus Aviation policies and Federal Aviation Regulations
- review the maintenance status of the aircraft
- conduct proper pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual
- check weather conditions and airport facilities along the route including alternate airports
- ensure safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew
- accurately complete all trip paperwork in accordance with procedures
